The town of Harkány is located in southern Hungary in the county of Baranya. It is located at the foot of the Villány Mountains, 26 km south of Pécs and approx. 10 km from the border with Croatia.
Harkány has been an official city since 1999. It is best known as a spa. When the healing effect of the water was discovered here 160 years ago, a bath was built with a hospital for rheumatism patients. (899-146)
