Description
Stone house in the far north of Hungary (Bükk Mountains)
In the far north of Hungary and located in the Bükk Mountains, lies the small village Sajómercse. In this village there are some basic facilities such as a small local shop and a café. For further shopping you can go to Putnok (7km) which is nice and large with nearly 8000 inhabitants.
The house is located near the center of the village and along the main street. At the rear you have all the nature you could wish for and that includes the beautiful view of the hills and mountains.
The main part of the house is solid and built of stone but a renovation is needed. The annex is in a less capable state but lends itself very well to be drawn to the main building after extensive renovations and expand the living space in this way significantly.
Now, the living area approx 70 m2 and there are four rooms. Of course there are the famous outbuildings such as barns and stables … and the whole stands on a plot of 2000m2.
Electricity, water and gas is present. The drainage is running via a septic tank. There is no heating but a central heating system can be made which can be connected to the gas. There is no bathroom and toilet.
After a thorough makeover you’ve got something nice.
