The main roads in the village are Malom utca and Petöfi utca, along these roads you will find shops, cafes and restaurants.

The main attraction of the village is “the tower of Simon”, a keep built in the 13th century. The building has since been restored so many times that it is a puzzle of architectural styles. In the summer months you can also view the building from the inside. In the mountains around the village you will find so-called “living cellars”. Small caves in which nowadays mainly wine cellars can be found but in which gypsies also live.

Restaurants and entertainment: There is a thermal bath in Simontornya that is closed on Mondays. You will also find a campsite near this swimming pool. There are two affordable hotels: Tó Étterem és Motel (also restaurant) and Gála Panzió. In the village you will find restaurants such as Bonci Étterem és Pizzéria and Tulipán Étterem where you can eat a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

PLEASE NOTE: In Simontornya you can, for a fee, fish for carp.

The property is very easy to reach via a well-maintained concrete road.

Also very suitable for keeping horses because the house is built at the very back of the plot and one has a beautiful view over the property with the grazing horses.
