The small village of Szalatnak is located near the beautiful town of Pécs (30 km). Beautifully situated in a hilly area and surrounded by lots of greenery and nature. There is a good main road to the surrounding villages and also to Komló and Pécs. In the village itself there are still some basic facilities such as a convenience store, pub. There is no longer a post office, but the postman comes to the door and one can then handle all necessary things such as making payments … convenience serves people! The village makes a neat and tidy impression. It is a popular village among the Dutch and Belgians.
