Solid stone house for a small price!
In the extreme south of the Somogy county lies the small village Tótújfalu and in this village you will find this small, built entirely of stone, house with extension. Youneed to do a lot of work to make something beautiful out of it but it’s not an real renovation. Modern amenities such as a bathroom and toilet are available. The roof is old but still in reasonable condition and the walls are dry and in good condition. Obviously, the house calls for a modernization including new stucco inside and out.
The village itself is not as prosperous but the people are friendly and helpful. Some basic services are to be found in the village but for bigger shopping you can go to the larger town Barcs. (30 minutes and 23 km) You’re so in Croatia and the Drava river is just steps away. The location is ideal for anyone who loves peace, space, nature and the real village feeling.
The house has a living area of 68 m2 and 4 rooms with a bathroom. On the large plot of 5267 m2 stand beside the house also some outbuildings including a barn and a shed and a garage. The typical Hungarian summer kitchen completes it all.
Electricity and water are available in the house and the drainage is via a septic tank. For heating there are wood stoves.
Tótújfalu is a place (község) and municipality in the Hungarian county Somogy. Tótújfalu counts 247 inhabitants (2001).
